MEC’s Tecate, Mexico facility has named Roberto Figueroa Reyes as the new Quality Manager for all of its electronics manufacturing services. His previous experience with Schott Magnetics as QA/QC Department Head and being associated with Sanyo Manufacturing S.A. de C.V. as QC/QA manager, along with Calisistemas S.A. de C.V. as a test equipment engineer has given him the necessary experience to excel in this new position.

“Roberto has over 25 years of experience in quality and engineering positions within the EMS outsourcing industry. He has been trained in Six Sigma techniques and has been involved in a wide range of continuous improvement initiatives, all of which helped to boost levels of productivity for electronics assembly at our location.” said Pirouz Pourhashemi, General Manager of the Tecate facility.

Roberto received both an Industrial Engineering degree in Electronics from the Instituto Techologico de Tijuana, along with a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Ibero Americana.
